Plying ideas
So you have one bobbin spun and you want to ply. A great way is to wind off to a center pull ball and then ply from
both ends.
Dying Idea
Want to dye, but don't have the time or patience to monitor the pot? How about the oven? The oven provides an even
temperature source. I add the wool to an enameled roaster (dedicated to dying only), cover with water, add a glug of vinegar
and then sprinkle on my dyes ( Jaquard or Country Classics usually). I poke the dye around with my plastic spoon, put the
lid on the roaster and pop the whole thing in the oven for an hour at 350 degrees F. The r
